20 Hours ECE
From 1 July 2010 all three, four and five-year old children are able to attend early childhood education (ECE) services for six hours a day, 20 hours a week at no charge. You can choose any hours your child is enrolled to attend, but you can’t have more than six hours a day, 20 hours a week. Renwick Preschool supports 20 hours ECE, for more information please call the office or visit the Ministry of Education website here.
Work and Income Subsidies (Winz)
The Preschool and our OSCAR program is registered with Winz for accepting payments for childcare subsidies. Your child may be entitled to a childcare subsidy so we suggest that you check with your local WINZ office. Further information and application forms are available from Work and income New Zealand.
Payment Options:
The benefits of offering different pay options have been chosen to best support the preschool and you as the payee. The following options are suitable for a small centre such as Renwick Preschool and will minimise any cost to you.
Internet Banking / Automatic Payments: this is our preferred option
